This is a compilation of five of my top interviews for nutrition and weight loss.
My guest today on the Spiritual Warriors Unite podcast is Julio Anta. Julio owns Anta's Fitness and Self Defense, one of South Florida's most successful and recognized martial arts and fitness centers. Julio is a martial arts and fitness instructor and also is an international competitive bodybuilder. Julio's scripture of choice was Habakkuk 2:2-3. "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay."
God designed men to conquer. We need challenges in our lives. If we don’t have challenges we get soft and bored and that is never a good combination. Revelation 3:21 states, “The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.”
I believe one of the biggest battles I see men face is one of complacency. Not living life to the full, both in our spiritual walk and our physical being. We have gotten soft physically, mentally and spiritually.

It’s a commitment to myself that I am willing to get out of my comfort zone so I can make a difference in the world that I am called to make. That I am willing to show up big and not shrink back.

Does life really have to be so “hard?” Does it always have to be a struggle? It seems in my own personal and professional life I have become really good at making things hard. I have always been hard on myself. I have always demanded perfectionism of myself and when I don’t live up to my own expectations I beat myself up mentally and yes sometimes even physically. Damn, that’s a hard way to live life, no pun intended. This podcast will show us a new possibility of looking at life. It doesn't always have to be hard and a struggle. Sometimes we just forget to have fun and laugh.
In this episode of the Spiritual Warriors Unite podcast I invite a new possibility of a way of seeing church. Church isn’t just a place to go to check the box for our Christian duty. It’s a place where we come alive and our dreams, purpose and passion are born and realized. It’s a place where we can be authentic, vulnerable and share our story. It’s where we are seen and heard. It’s where deep community is formed. It’s where we go to become who God created us to be so we can go out and change the world. To me this is church.

In this episode I interview Erinn J. Campton. She is the author of the newly released book "A Love so Mighty: A true Story of God's Transforming Presence. Erinn has written elaborate tales since the first time her mother handed her a crayon. She walked with Jesus even before then and could not imagine a life apart from Him. Her best days are spent in a cuddle pile with a little boy and three semi-naughty canines while her soulmate is nearby tinkering in his garage. Born and raised in Northern Colorado, she is closest to our Lord when sitting on a mountain beside a river with a cup of coffee in one hand and a book in the other.
In this episode I discuss how we can increase our energy level by changing our internal state of being. When we go from being stuck in negative emotions to living from a place of joy, gratitude and appreciation our energy level and outlook on life improves dramatically. The only way to change our life is to change our energy.
